Product Features

The interior employs an isolated air-insulation design, ensuring both the safe clearance and creepage distance between phases significantly exceed the requirements specified by national standards. The phase-to-phase insulation within the equipment utilizes highstrength epoxy resin material, effectively enhancing the busway's dynamic and thermal stability to maintain reliable operation under extreme conditions. The enclosure is formed with a one-piece corrugated structure through bending technology, resulting in a compact size and elegant appearance while substantially improving the mechanical load-bearing capacity compared to conventional busways.

Scope of application

Air-insulated busways are suitable for AC three-phase four-wire and three-phase five-wire systems, with a frequency of 50–60 Hz, rated voltage up to 660V, and rated operating current ranging from 250A to 5000A. They serve power distribution functions, connecting low-voltage distribution panels to medium and large loads, and are primarily used in modern workshops, industrial plants, and high-rise buildings

Structural characteristics

● Air-insulated busways feature a compact design with excellent corrosion resistance, heat dissipation, and grounding performance. Their unique double-layer hollow structure provides each enclosure segment with pipe-like bending resistance, significantly enhancing the overall system's torsional strength.

● The system incorporates standard single-arm locking vibration-damping connectors for reliable and convenient installation.

● Power tap-off openings can be flexibly arranged on both top and bottom surfaces without compromising bending resistance. These tap-off interfaces achieve IP5X protection rating (compliant with IEC 60529).

◎ Insulation Configuration

● Busbar insulation utilizes high-efficiency polyester film, which offers superior high-temperature resistance (no toxic gas emission under extreme heat) and dielectric properties, rated as Class B insulation. Alternatively, premium polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) oriented film (SFM-3) can be used, featuring an extreme temperature range (-180℃ to +250℃ ), single-layer withstand voltage of 6000V, Class C insulation rating, and insulation aging life exceeding 50 years, representing the highest-performance insulation material currently available.

● Ambient Temperature: Upper limit: +40℃ ; Lower limit: -25℃ ; Altitude: ≤ 2000m

● Humidity: Relative humidity ≤ 50% at +40℃ ; higher relative humidity permitted at lower temperatures. Condensation: Possible; Seismic Intensity: Designed for magnitude 6; Installation: Indoor/Outdoor

● Insulation Resistance: Each enclosed busway unit shall have insulation resistance ≥ 100MΩ (measured with 2500V megohmmeter)

● Dielectric Strength: Each busway section withstands 1-minute power-frequency dry withstand voltage test before shipment. Test values comply with national standards for power-frequency and lightning impulse withstand voltages.

● Grounding System: Complies with IEC 60364-5-54 requirements.

● Protection Rating: Indoor type: IP40; Outdoor type: IP43/IP55

● Load Performance: At rated current, enclosure temperature rise meets GB 763-90 standards for AC high-voltage equipment under continuous operation.

● Short-Circuit Performance: Dynamic and thermal stability tests conform to GB 2706-89 standards for AC high-voltage equipment testing methods.
