Description

Characteristics of RTKMCG High Voltage Common Box Busbar

Concise Design

The two sides of the RTKMCG common box busbar are radiator type aluminum magnesium alloy profiles with a thickness of 5.5mm. As the heat dissipation strip can also enhance the rigidity and strength of the side plate, the height on both sides can reach 305mm without any reinforcement measures. The upper and lower sealing plates are made of aluminum zinc coated plates to ensure the overall structural strength of the assembled busbar. The side panel and bottom panel are fastened with high-strength imported rivets. The cover plate and the two side plates are connected by bolts. Each section of the busbar generally has a reasonable standard maintenance hole at the upper part (which can also be set on the side according to on-site needs), and the unique manufacturing process and high requirement expansion joint connection technology at the maintenance hole make the busbar shell protection level up to IP54. Installation in typical outdoor environments does not require adjusting the protection level.

Short Circuit Strength

Due to its high-strength shell design and reasonable horizontal placement of the busbar, the HYTKMCG busbar can withstand the impact of a 50000 ampere short circuit.

Magnetic Field

Independent laboratory tests have confirmed that the magnetic field generated by the RTKMCG common box busbar is negligible.

Low Noise

Due to the tight fixation of the conductor, insulator, and casing in the design, and the use of aluminum magnesium alloy materials on both sides to block the magnetic ring flow, the generation of noise can be greatly reduced after power on.

Elastic Design

The RTKMCG common box busbar shell is made of aluminum magnesium alloy material and can be customized with special design components according to customer needs, such as 30 degree bends, 45 degree bends, 90 degree bends, and 135 degree bends. These bends can be horizontal or vertical.

The Shell is a Ground Wire

According to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), it is recommended to use the outer shell of the busbar as a grounding conductor. Therefore, the HYTKMCG busbar housing is made of aluminum magnesium alloy material, which is more effective than the grounding wire made of iron sheets. In addition, the unique heat sink design on the housing makes the effective area of the grounding conductor more than three times higher than the phase line current.

Heating Device

On both sides of the busbar trunking, heaters are added to every 2M busbar HYTKMCG busbar to facilitate the removal of condensation that may occur inside the trunking body when the busbar is not in use for a long time.

Collecting Tank and Automatic Drainage Function

The exquisite production process and reasonable structure make the surface of the busbar exquisite and generous, achieving the requirement of no water accumulation indoors and outdoors. There is a water collection tank on the necessary busbar base plate, and an automatic water collection and disposal device is installed at the end of the water collection tank. It can effectively dispose of accumulated water inside the busbar and block the entry of dust and foreign objects.

Characteristics of RTKMCG High Voltage Common Box Busbar

Long Lifespan

1. The two sides of the shell are made of anodized aluminum magnesium alloy material, and the upper and lower cover plates are made of imported aluminum zinc coated plate material, ensuring the corrosion resistance and acid alkali resistance of the shell for use in an environment.

2. The insulator is made of imported high-strength insulation material vacuum cast, ensuring its insulation and rigidity strength.

3. The entire conductor is silver plated to ensure temperature rise requirements and to prevent the formation of copper green on the surface of the conductor after prolonged contact with air. Additionally, the entire conductor can be wrapped in heat shrink tubing upon special request from the customer.

4. Good heat dissipation materials and increased heat dissipation area ensure that the temperature rise of the busbar is within the designed range.

Telescopic Joint

The RTKMCG common box busbar adopts expansion joints when the overall straight length exceeds 40M, or when passing through expansion joints in building structures. It mainly realizes the adjustment of two degrees of freedom in the horizontal and vertical directions, which can not only meet the expansion and contraction requirements caused by different temperature drops and thermal expansion and contraction. It is also possible to compensate for errors caused by foundation settlement. Its special expansion joint design enables flexible splicing of larger busbar boxes, thereby achieving programmatic and standardized design and installation of busbar systems.

Shock Absorption Measures

In order to address the negative impact of vibration generated during the operation of transformers, generators, and distribution cabinets on enclosed busbars, a soft connection is used at the connection with the enclosed busbar, and rubber pads are added between the shells to reduce vibration. For the enclosed busbar body, shock absorbers are installed in the system to provide elastic support for high-voltage insulators and conductive bars, effectively avoiding damage to the enclosed busbar caused by mechanical and seismic waves generated by the shells.

Easy to Install

The simple construction of connection positions and high-precision installation in manufacturing have become easier, making their application in tight spaces even more important.

Save Maintenance

The design and manufacturing of RTKMCG busbars are designed for the requirements of longevity and low maintenance, generally for easy periodic inspection and checking for loose bolts.

The surface of the shell does not require spraying and can be selected according to customer requirements.

Insulation Configuration

The busbar conductor uses air as the insulation medium, and the corresponding insulation electrical clearance is selected according to different voltage levels. (mm)
